Can you believe Valentine's day is just a mere SIX days away!!!???
How the heck did that happen? I swear it was just January 1st - like yesterday. Seriously, what time vortex did I go thru?
Anyhoo, I have a 1,000 (well, really 20) Valentines to make before the week is out. EEEK!!
I racked my brain about what to do and thought - Stickers! Stickers make everything easier. Plus, I can decorate my planner with them!! This weekend I pulled out some digi doodles and phrases from my friend Emma (you will meet her in one sec) and put together a fun sheet of images, printed them on sticker paper and VOILA - problem solved.
Then I thought - I need share these!! Quick confirmation from Emma that I could spread the LOVE, and I pulled together a "love"-ly download for you all! Once on the sticker paper I cut these on my Silhouette machine, but you can easily cut them by hand. (click for tips on using downloads)
Check out how cute they are in my planner!! Haven't gotten to the card making yet - that's tonight's homework.
Before you go, you need to meet Emma!
I was lucky enough to meet Emma when we worked together at Sunset Magazine years ago. Now I am thrilled to call her my friend. She is the embodiment of kindness, friendship and fun. Here are few more facts about her...
Emma has been doodling for as long as she can remember. She says that creating these little vignettes is so natural, it’s like air flowing in and out of her lungs. Her muse is human connection and her goal is to engage and open space for a simple connection between people. Could it be that if we allowed a few minutes each day in our busy lives to let kindness flow forth and touch another that the happiness we seek will be found? Kindness by Emma is the answer to that very statement illustrated a thousand different ways. Emma’s passion for enabling connection has only grown over the years, especially as she became a mom.
Today Emma's focus is on sharing and displaying printed photos. Photos have a unique ability to capture, recreate, and reinforce connection. Click to learn more about her company Indie Mats —the minimalist product she designed to bypass the fussiness of traditional framing and provide an easy way to post photos to real-life walls. Her hope is that homes and offices can be a place to relive cherished moments of connection and, in so doing, foster new ones.
